Junior Youth Group

Junior Youth Group Activities

The Junior High Youth Group begins in 6th grade, and continues until the end of the 8th grade. Our Junior High program activities will focus around discipleship, fellowship and service. Some of our activities include:

· Sunday Morning Youth Group

· A Fall Lock-In

· A Winter Lock-In

· A Mission Trip/ Pilgrimage each summer

· Planning and running the Annual Halloween Party for the Sunday School

· Fellowship Activities – Apple picking, Lazer Tag, Bowling, Movies, etc…

· Service Activities

Youth Group on Sunday Morning

As students reach the Sixth grade, they move into Sunday Junior High Youth Group meetings. Each Sunday, our youth group engages in a small group Bible study using the Serendipity Student Bible. This study program encourages discussion of the biblical passage as well as finding ways to apply it to a Christian life. It has a variety of activities and games that begin each session. There is more freedom in the youth group for the youth to determine what biblical passages or themes they wish to study.
