The 2015 Every Member Canvass entered its third week on Sunday, October 19. To all of you who have declared your pledge, thank you very much. Currently our pledge dollars pay for only 15% of our $12 million annual budget, to run a church and a choir school in the middle of Manhattan; Father Turner has challenged the parish to help Saint Thomas Church to grow so that future generations can enjoy this wonderful church as we do.
Did you know that last year the parish spent approximately $1 million for maintenance on the Church and School buildings and approximately $300,000 for utilities? Over 25 percent of our annual budget is allocated to the Choir School, probably the most important outreach program at Saint Thomas Church.
Together, we can make an important difference.
