A Solemn Funeral Mass to celebrate the life and ministry of the Rev’d Canon John Andrew, Eleventh Rector of Saint Thomas Church takes place tomorrow, Wednesday, November 5, at 5:30 pm.
Father Andrew’s body will be received into the Chancel of Saint Thomas Church on Tuesday 4th November where it will remain until the Solemn Funeral Liturgy the next day, Wednesday 5th November at 5:30pm. Fr Andrew had planned all aspects of his funeral, including music. The celebrant, at Father Andrew’s request, will be the current Rector, Fr Carl Turner. The preacher, also at Fr Andrew’s request, will be Fr Andrew Mead, XII Rector.
