Give to the Miller-Scott Organ Project

Dedication of the Irene D. and William R. Miller Chancel Organ in Memory of John Scott

After years of planning and fundraising for the Miller-Scott Organ, our dream has become a reality. The Organ has been installed and its voicing is almost complete.

The cost to build, carve and install the Miller-Scott Organ, one of the premier organs in the world, is approximately $11 million. Thanks to the generosity of hundreds of parishioners and friends of Saint Thomas, we have raised almost $9 million. If you would like to make a gift, we would be most appreciative. The Dedication Recital will be held Friday, October 5 at 7pm. If you want tickets, please contact the Music Office – all seats are $30.

The actual dedication will take place at a Solemn Eucharist to be held on Sunday, October 7 at 11am which, appropriately, is also the Feast of the Anniversary of the Dedication of the Church. At 4pm there will be Solemn Evensong and Te Deum in Procession at which the preacher will be The Most Rev’d John O’Hara, Auxiliary Bishop in the Archdiocese of New York. No tickets are required for either service.
