The Purpose of Registration
Registration is required on the Saint Thomas website for all financial transactions, including pledges and donations, store and concert ticket purchases, and event registrations. To register, you must use a valid email address and you also must create a password.
Registration is NOT required for all other activities on the website, including listening to webcasts, accessing the sermon archive and calendar, and reading information on any web page.
Your Email Address
Saint Thomas Church will not share your email address with any outside organization. However, your email address is saved in our parish database. We may from time to time use that email address to contact you regarding your transaction on our website and/or to notify you of upcoming events. If at any time you would like to be removed from our email distribution list, you may contact us at website@SaintThomasChurch.org
We encourage you to create a unique password, as opposed to using a password that you also use for other purposes. Please keep a record of it in your personal records. Your password is encrypted on our website; no one can view it. Therefore, if you forget your password, we will be unable to send it to you. Instead, you will need to follow the process to create a new password, which can be accessed by clicking on the “forgot password?” link on the sign-in page.
Saint Thomas uses authorize.net to process credit card transactions. After you’ve submitted your credit card information, our website contacts authorize.net to accept or reject the transaction, based on the information you’ve entered. If the transaction is rejected, it is often because of an error in the data entry. Make sure you check that all fields are correct. If you are confident that you have correctly entered your information and yet the transaction is not authorized, it is because authorize.net was unable to get approval for the transaction from your bank, given the information you entered.
Saint Thomas Church itself neither approves nor declines credit cards. Saint Thomas relies solely on the information provided to us via authorize.net. If you have difficulty completing a transaction on the Saint Thomas website, simply contact the appropriate office at Saint Thomas directly (for example, contact the concerts office for concert tickets) so that you can make arrangements to complete your transaction another way.
You will know that your transaction was successful when you see a screen that confirms the transaction. We also send a confirmation email to the email address you provided with your registration account. If you do not see that email in your inbox, check your spam/junk folder, especially if you are using an email address at your place of employment. All transactions are processed over a secure network with a valid thawte SSL123 Certificate. This offers users secure communications by encrypting all data traveling to and from the site.
Saint Thomas does not store your credit card information within your registration account on our website. However, we do store your contact information. Therefore, each time you return to Saint Thomas for a transaction, you will need to re-enter your credit card information. This is for your protection.
Barring unforeseen circumstances and/or technical difficulties Saint Thomas Church ships all products ordered on our website within three to five business days via USPS. Please allow for extra time during very busy times of the Liturgical year such as Christmas, Holy Week, and Easter. If you have any further questions or comments please email us.
