This conversation is the first of several meetings on the topic of friendship: what it is, why we need it, how we can cultivate it.
For this first gathering, please bring your Bible. If you have time, look through the Gospels and see where and how Jesus uses "freind" or "friends." Some passages to consider (this isn't a complete list, and it also sometimes depends on translation):
Matthew 11:19, 20:13, 22:12, 26:50
Luke 11:5ff, 14:10
John 3:29, 11:11
Newcomers are welcome. Light food will be served. You must register in advance.

This class meets at the Choir School. All names of attendees must be given to the front desk. Please RSVP no later than the afternoon of September 8 so that your name will be included.
