The Rector's Christian Doctrine Class 2017: Pilgrims on The Way

The Rector’s Christian Doctrine Class is a comprehensive introduction to the Christian Faith as understood by the Episcopal Church and based on its catechism. The first session is on Tuesday, January 17 at 6:30 p.m. The sessions run every Tuesday until April 4 when there is a break for Holy Week and Easter. Sessions resume on April 25 until May 16. The service of Confirmation and Reception of those from other churches will be on Sunday, May 21 at 11 a.m. The course is for anyone who wishes to explore the faith, for those who want to be baptized or confirmed, those who have been baptized in another church but wish to be received as members of the Episcopal Church, and those who want to refresh their understanding of the faith. Further details are on the website; the classes last one hour and refreshments are provided. The class uses multi-media presentations, bible study, discussion and traditional teaching. The course is open to all; enquirers, members of other churches, and current parishioners are welcome to attend any or all of the sessions.
