2012 EMC Tiles Project: Success!

Everyone who has ever been to Saint Thomas understands that art is a form of worship, so this year as part of the Every Member Canvass, we did a parish-wide art project.

We asked people to create a tile, 8.5 inches square, from paper or any other mountable material. The prompt was: When you are worshiping at St. Thomas, what is it all about for you?

And people responded...wow, did they respond! At a special Every Member Canvass Coffee Hour on November 6, the tiles went on display in Andrew Hall. Also at the Coffee Hour was a huge spread of food provided by members of the EMC Committee (each person made something and brought it to share). All the pics below are from the Coffee Hour. It's unanimous--five former rectors agree: the tiles are magnificent.
