Programs
If you are new to Saint Thomas, even visiting for the very first time, you are welcome to participate in any or all worship and fellowship activities. You might give some particular thought to the following opportunities which might be of particular interest to someone new.
- Coffee Hour occurs in the Parish House living room and dining room following the 9am and 11am Sunday services. Please don't hesitate to introduce yourself to members of the Welcome Committee, who will be distributing name tags, or to members of the clergy, who will be dressed in black cassocks. Also, if you'd like to hear from us, please sign the Parish Guest Book if you have not already given us your contact information.
- Guided Tours of Saint Thomas occur most Sundays. The tour starts in the narthex (just inside the Fifth Avenue doors) immediately following the 11am service.
- Evensong and the Organ Recital Series are good ways to enjoy the wonders, gently and somewhat passively, of Anglican worship and music, especially if you find the Sunday morning services to be a bit overwhelming.
- The Rector's Christian Doctrine Class is an excellent introduction to the foundations of the faith as received by this church. It begins each January and meets on Tuesday nights.
- The 20s-30s Fellowship and the 30s-40s Monthly Dinner & Discussion Group are appropriate for anyone, but are especially geared toward integrating new members into the life of the parish.
- Consider either attending or (if you are a child or know a child) participating in the Christmas Pageant.
- If you are not yet baptized and are seeking to become baptized, email the Fr Spurlock.
- Please see the Contact page for email addresses for various types of inquires.
