Dear Listener:

Thank you for your interest in our webcasting. On behalf of the Gentlemen and Boys of the Saint Thomas Choir, we are delighted to be able to provide this service for choral music lovers across the world, but I would like to take this opportunity to inform you of some of the costs involved. On the technical side, each service costs us over $50 to webcast; this includes the engineering, storage and bandwidth charges. Our music resources are finite, so funding for our webcasting has to be found from other areas of our activity. If each one of our regular streaming listeners were to contribute just $5 per month, these out-of-pocket costs would be covered.

I would urge you please to consider joining the members of our ‘virtual congregation’ throughout the world who have already given financial support to our 2008 webcasting program. In most cases you can do this using the link to Paypal on the right.

In taking this step, you will not only be paying a modest price for your own unlimited access to our wonderful music and liturgy, but also enabling us to continue our outreach to others around the world who share a love of the great Anglican choral tradition in worship.

Yours sincerely,

John Scott
Organist and Director of Music
