Seven Stories

Classes will resume Nov. 11, after a Nov. 4 Congregational Meeting

On November 4, the Sunday Theology class will pause for the sake of one our parish’s Congregational Meetings at 9:45 am in Andrew Hall. This will be a time to meet with one another in a discussion hosted by Wellspring Consulting, our guide in our strategic planning process. They will listen to your convictions regarding the future of our church and choir school. We hope you can be there to bring your voice to the listening and planning process.

Our prayers of support continue for Father Joel Daniels and his family as they prepare for their first Sunday at St. George’s, Ardmore.

On November 11, at 10 am, our Theology Classes will resume, hosted by myself, Father Matthew Moretz, the new Associate Rector. My classes will be entitled “Seven Stories of Scripture,” and in them we will tour seven great themes and motifs that run through the Bible and then culminate in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Expect lively discussion and careful examination of the record of our salvation history using the full breadth of our theological tradition and Christian practices.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at [email protected]. Also, see this space for a full outline of the course next week.

Many blessings.
