We thank all of the parishioners who have made a pledge to support Saint Thomas in the coming year. Father Turner has challenged all of us to think about what Saint Thomas means to us and how important it is in our lives. Whether this is your first pledge or you are a longtime pledger, please know that each and every pledge is important. The pie charts in the 2016 EMC materials show that our excess draw is twice the amount of all pledges, illustrating the need to grow the Canvass. Some of the expense items supported by the operating budget include: operation of the Choir School: 25%; utilities (electric, gas and steam) for the church and school: 3.8%; worship supplies (candles, silver repair and polishing but not wafers or wine): 2.4%.
