Each month, Father Turner records an audio message which is a personal theological reflection on a particular topic. Sometimes it is about the season or festival being celebrated at Saint Thomas Church, sometimes a reflection on the life of the church in other parts of the world and at other times something that is in the news. These messages are posted to this page toward the end of each month.

The Rector’s Reflection for February 2016
Canon Turner reflects on the growth of religious orders as a result of the Oxford Movement in the mid to late 19th Century, their involvement with social care, and the poignant fact that many of these orders no longer exist. He also reflects on the witness of religious and, in particular, the so-called ‘Martyrs of Memphis’.
