November: The Month of Remembrance

As we approach the Feast of Christ the King (November 26) and the end of the church year, the month of November includes many services in which those who have come before us are called to mind. We invite you to worship with us on any or all of the days listed below.

Wednesday, November 1: All Saints’ Day

Thursday, November 2: All Souls’ Day
Listen to a live webcast of the Solemn Requiem at 5:30pm, sung by the Gentlemen of the Choir.

Sunday, November 5: All Saints’ Sunday
Listen to a webcast of the 11a.m. Solemn Eucharist sung by the Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys, sermon by Fr. Turner.

Listen to a webcast of the 4p.m. Solemn Evensong sung by the Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys, sermon by the Reverend Erika Takacs Associate Rector, Saint Mark’s Church, Philadelphia.

Saturday, November 11: Veterans’ Day
A said Mass at 12:10pm at the War Memorial Altar in the narthex.
Note that the federal observance of Veterans’ Day in on Friday, November 10, this year.

Sunday, November 12: Remembrance Sunday
8am Said Mass
9am Sung Mass
11am Solemn Requiem Eucharist, featuring Fauré’s Requeim sung by the Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys, sermon by Fr. Turner.
4pm Choral Evensong for the historical and patriotic societies, sung by the Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys, sermon by the Right Reverned Dean E. Wolfe, Rector, Saint Bartholomew’s, New York City

Thursday, November 23: Thanksgiving Day
11am Solemn Eucharist sung by the Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys, sermon by Fr. Turner
