Search for Organist and Director of Music

Following the appointment of Daniel Hyde to be Director of Music of King’s College, Cambridge, the Rector and Vestry of Saint Thomas Church are seeking an Organist and Director of Music at an important time in the parish’s history.

In the fall, the Miller-Scott Organ will be dedicated – possibly one of the finest liturgical and recital instruments in the world – and the parish begins a significant strategic planning project lasting over ten months. Finally, in 2019, we celebrate the centenary of Saint Thomas Choir School.

The successful candidate will build upon the illustrious work of the previous organists, including Gerre Hancock, John Scott, and Daniel Hyde. He or she will work closely with the Rector and the Vestry in implementing the 5-10-year Strategic Plan.
