Concerts at Saint Thomas

Much anticipated, and as a result of over ten years of visionary planning and painstaking hard work on the part of many, The Irene D. and William R. Miller Chancel Organ in memory of John Scott has gradually taken shape visually and aurally over the past year. In the Dedicatory Recital on October 5, Daniel Hyde will demonstrate the many colors and sounds of the new instrument, from the softest strings to the iconic “blazing Saint Thomas sound” known to many familiar with the previous instrument. Very limited seating remains. Please contact the Concerts Office at 212.664.9360 or [email protected].

On October 18, Daniel Hyde conducts the Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys with Orchestra of St. Luke’s in their debut concert featuring Benjamin Sheen playing The Miller-Scott Organ. Together with Sara Cutler, harp, and Hyesang Park, soprano, the choir will sing works of Parry, Janáček, and Bernstein, along with organ concerti by Poulenc and Barber. Please contact the Concerts Office (see information above) for tickets.
