LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH, PRAISE THE LORD

LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH, PRAISE THE LORD. Psalm 150:6

This Sunday, October 7 we joined the 11am Mass congregation for the Dedication of the new Miller- Scott Organ.

This was just one of highlights of this milestone, musical weekend in the life of Saint Thomas Church.

We continued in Sunday School to hear the refrain: Let everything that has breath, Praise the Lord Psalm 150:6 as we celebrated God’s gift of creation and in particular the gift of animals, some of whom had come to join us this weekend!

Mrs. Perkins shared the life of St. Francis with us and following his example, we discovered how loving and caring for animals is yet another way we can share God’s love, as we continue to learn to walk with him this term.

The children went on to create their own creation stories as we all listened to God’s word from our new Sunday School bible, a golden gift for this Dedication Sunday. We heard once again the wonderful story of creation before going to Mass with our own small animal to keep, each of us remembering…

God saw all that he had made and, behold, it was very good’.
Genesis 1: 31
