Sunday School and Nursery News for the Week of January 12, 2020

Sunday January 12

All families are welcome to our Annual Epiphany Feast at 10am in the Living Room.

Last Sunday

We began our Epiphany celebrations in Sunday School and at Mass. The children enjoyed meeting up again with their friends after their various Christmas family festivities and vacations. Mrs Perkins led the lesson: “This week the children revisited the gospel reading of the Three Wise Men. The children portrayed various characters within the story and participated in a fun activity using a Q and A, talk show format surrounding the story. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed a slice of Kings Cake.” Thank you to Marjourie for bringing in the freshly baked Rosca de Reyes!

This Sunday

We will conclude this festive season with an
EPIPHANY FAMILY FEAST, where you will have a chance to see a number of photographs from this year’s pageant on the BIG screen.

If go to the Chantry Chapel and look carefully at the beautiful Altar Piece behind the cross, you will see three significant scenes from Jesus’ Ministry. Take a look in the Chapel before Mass, to find a clue to two of this week’s readings!

Prepare at home for Mass by reading
Matthew 12:1-12
Luke 3:15-17, 21-22
John 2:1-11
