Theology Class for Sunday, December 6, 2020: The Practice of Prayer

On Sunday, December 6th, at 10:00 am, Fr. Mark Brown will continue his series of monthly classes on “The Practice of Prayer.”

The theme for the class on Sunday will be “The Prayers of Liturgy; the Liturgy as Prayer.” Our public worship includes many types of prayers: collects, confessions, litanies, free and formal intercessions, blessings, consecrations, thanksgivings, hymns, etc., many of which can be adapted for personal devotions. The Eucharistic liturgy, with its ceremonial and artistic enrichment, is also a kind of corporate prayer offered by the whole assembly, culminating in the offering of “our souls and bodies” in union with Christ’s own self-offering.

Please RSVP if you are interested in taking this class. (You do not need to RSVP if you have already received the login information.)

If you would like more information about this class, please email Fr. Brown.
