On Sunday June 27 at 10am via Zoom Father Cheng continued a five-part course on the Lord’s Prayer, during which we explored the scholarly debate over “ἐπιούσιον,” the mysterious word that is usually translated as “daily” but that appears nowhere else in the corpus of Greek literature. We also explored why different translations of the prayer use different words such as “trespasses,” “debts,” and “sins.”
