We are pleased to announce that two members of our parish, Karen Duncan and Willem Brans, have been appointed by the Rector as Co-Heads of the Guild of Ushers at Saint Thomas Church Fifth Avenue. Also, parishioner, Tom Dean, has agreed to renew his particular leadership among the Ushers at our Concerts. In their hospitality to worshippers, their assisting with seating, their helping to orient guests, and their guidance to seating and to the altar for Communion, the Ushers take on an essential ministry in the life of our parish. In facilitating our services, the Ushers become the welcoming face of Saint Thomas, and we thank them and their new leaders for making our common life possible.
