Children and Families Update for the Week of October 31, 2021

Dear Friends,

A message from Jack and Cole:

“In honor of All Saints’ Day, on October 31st and November 7th Sunday School and Faith Alive will host to some ‘Saintly’ visitors. We also welcome everyone to come dressed as their favorite Saint and share a fun fact or two about them.”

You are all welcome to join us for Mass in person, or to participate via the livestream. Here is the link to our latest COVID-19 Parish Protocol update. Please note our new proof of vaccine protocols introduced on September 12.

Faith Alive

Our Grade 6 + youth program has resumed on SUNDAYS 10-10:45 am. We meet in the 3rd floor of the Parish House, after the 9 am Mass.

You are all welcome to join us for Mass in person, or to participate via the livestream. Here is the link to our latest COVID-19 Parish Protocol update. Please note our new proof of vaccine protocols introduced on September 12.

Our Children and Family Sunday pattern this week will be as follows:

9-9:50 am A new Family centered Sung Mass in the Nave. We are delighted that several children have now volunteered to train as Acolytes and Youth Lectors.

10-10:45 am Sunday School (3rd Floor)

Families come to the Sunday School and Nursery rooms via the living room (2nd floor) for signing in and/ registration. Parents are welcome to join the Adult Education Class on The Theology of the Reredos, with Fr. Moretz on the 5th floor.

11 am Mass with Nursery Care

All families are welcome to come to this Sung Mass. The Children’s area in the Chantry Chapel may be used during Mass, with parents of younger children. Nursery Care will be available during this time for children up to five years of age.

PLEASE NOTE: While parents will still have pagers for emergency contact, we are needing to minimize movement in the building at this time. Children will therefore not be brought in and out of the Nursery during the service.

Please register for all Children and Family events and communications.

Faithfully yours,

Mother Alison Turner.
