Saint Thomas is blessed to have as our parish archivist, Fran X. Blouin. We are happy to share this opportunity with you to learn about his extensive experience in the Vatican Archives:
In this illustrated talk hosted by the Church Club of New York, Prof. Francis Blouin will explore the history, nature, and breadth of the holdings of the archives of the Holy See, and his own work in devising a comprehensive system for describing material that collectively occupies more than 60 miles of shelving. He will also address perennial questions of the secrets of the Vatican Archives. A reception will follow the talk. This event will be live and in-person only; streaming and recording will not be available.
