Buy a Pipe Challenge Has Been Met

posted on Wednesday, June 4, 2014

Update on June 5, 2014:

Over 60 parishioners and friends responded generously to the Buy A Pipe Challenge and the needed $100,000 was raised in a three week period. Some donors made a second gift in order to take advantage of this dollar-for-dollar match. Thanks to everyone who participated in the challenge and the campaign. If you have not yet made a gift, there is still time as the campaign is active until Monday, June 30. Don’t let this once in a lifetime opportunity pass you by. You can pledge via the link below or picking up a brochure in the narthex.

Orginal announcement from May 10, 2014:

There is a very exciting development in the Buy a Pipe Campaign. A generous anonymous donor has just made a $100,000 Challenge for the Buy a Pipe Campaign. This challenge will match dollar for dollar all new gifts or increases to earlier pipe “purchases” beginning Sunday, May 11.

If you have intended to participate in this campaign but have not done so, this is the perfect chance to double the impact of your gift. And if you have already contributed, please consider a second gift or an increase to your first pipe purchase. What a wonderful way to honor a loved one and participate in this historic campaign.

If you have any questions, please email Ann Hall Kaplan, or contact her at 212.757.7013, ext 414.
