Special Guest: Fr. Sean E. Mullen

For our Theology Class at 10am on Sunday, April 28, we will meet on the fifth floor to welcome our special guest, Fr. Sean E. Mullen, Rector of Saint Mark's Church, Philadelphia. You can read more about his great parish by following this link. He will be sharing with us his presentation entitled: "The Case for the Anglo-Catholic Outlook in the 21st Century." He will be drawing on his deep knowledge of parish and church life and will explore with us the wisdom and potency of this tradition of Christianity.

Father Sean Mullen came to Saint Mark's Church in August of 2002 to serve as Curate, and in November 2006 he was elected 14th Rector of the parish. Before then, Father Mullen was the Chaplain to the Most Rev. Dr. Peter Carnley, Archbishop of Perth and Primate of the Anglican Church of Australia. Prior to that he was Assistant Rector of All Saints Church in Richmond, Virginia.

Father Mullen is a graduate of the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia (1989) and of the General Theological Seminary in New York (1996). He serves as President of the Board of St. James School, of which he is also a co-founder. He also serves on the Board of the Society for the Advancement of the Episcopal Church in Pennsylvania, and he is Assistant Chaplain to the First Troop Philadelphia City Cavalry.

We look forward to welcoming him to our class this Sunday!

Many Easter blessings!
