We are grateful to the parishioners and friends who have shown their faith and love of Saint Thomas by making a pledge. Our Outreach Programs, an important part of Saint Thomas since its founding almost two hundred years ago, would not be possible without funding from the operating budget, which is supported by the Annual Appeal. In addition to our weekly Soup Kitchen that prepares and distributes over 300 meals to the homeless every Saturday, Saint Thomas underwrites many thousands of dollars in grants each year, which go to worthy programs throughout the world. The church has also responded quickly and generously to victims of natural disasters throughout the world. The Saint Thomas Choir School has been an important part of our outreach since the school’s founding in 1919. The scholarships that many choristers receive make it possible for them to attend the school, and even families paying the full tuition pay only a portion of the true costs of education, housing and the individualized opportunities available to each chorister.
