During our Sunday School gathering, we focused on Forgiveness.
We shared the appointed Gospel for today (Matthew 18:21-35) and considered the verse where Peter asks Jesus:
How many times should I forgive?
In Jesus’ answer we are reminded that forgiveness isn’t always easy, and yet it is a way of life that He calls us to live.
The older children began to explore other biblical references on this theme whilst others prepared loving arms of forgiveness, reflecting Gods embrace when we say sorry to Him and one another.
We concluded with the Lords Prayer, which gives a daily reminder of what it is to forgive when we say: “Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us”……..
