Co-Chairs

Murray Hood
Murray Hood and his wife, Louise, have been attending Saint Thomas Church since 2004. As a current Vestry member, Murray co-chairs the Development Committee and the Strategic Planning Working Group. He is a member of the Investment and Audit Committees. He also co-chaired the Annual Appeal (EMC) for four years.

Murray was a portfolio manager for Mariner Investment Group and its affiliates for 18 years. He now heads the Financial Services Group at Vicus Partners, a real estate company.

He is a graduate of Lake Forest College and earned an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Greg Zaffiro
Greg has regularly attended services at Saint Thomas since 2011 and he was received into the Episcopal Church in 2013.

He is a member of the Vestry and currently serves as a High Alter Acolyte and is co-chair of the Saint Thomas Church 2019 Annual Appeal. He is also co-chair of the Development Committee and Strategic Planning Working Group.

Greg is a Partner at the hedge fund, Electron Capital, where he leads business development and investor relations. Greg has spent nearly his entire career as a marketing professional within the alternative asset industry. Prior to that, he was a public equity research analyst.

Greg graduated from Fordham University in 2006 with a B.S. in Business Administration and minor in public accounting.
