In this series examining the Christian theological tradition, we look at the four ecumenical councils of the Church, as they sought to articulate orthodox Christian belief.

Today we continue to look at the theology of the Western Church, as it developed its Trinitarian thought under the leadership of Augustine of Hippo (354-430). Specifically, today’s class examines Augustine’s concept of the vestigia trinitatis, the traces of the Trinity in creation. The class meets on the fifth floor of the parish house.
