Outreach Opportunities


Please join us for a series of short, 20-minute presentations followed by questions and discussion with Episcopal Relief & Development (ERD) and our Fifth Avenue Ecumenical Social Worker.

  • Sunday, October 8 at 12:45 p.m. in the living room: Mr. Robert Radtke, President of ERD, will speak on What’s New at Episcopal Relief & Development; this talk will include an update on Hurricane Relief.
  • Wednesday, October 18, at 6:30 p.m. in Andrew Hall: Ms. Abigail Nelson, on Gender Based Violence and the work ERD is doing in the city.
  • Sunday, October 22 at 12:45 p.m. in the living room: Mr. Abiy Seifu, on Early Childhood Development within the ERD.
  • Wednesday, November 1, at 6:30 p.m. in Andrew Hall: Mr. John Sheehan, LCSW, on his new role as the 5th Avenue Ecumenical Social Worker; this is a partnership with Saint Thomas Church, Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. John works primarily with the homeless in this community and people in need. This will also be an opportunity to share ideas for volunteer work or further programs.
