Sunday, June 16, 2019
10:00 am – 10:45 am
5th Floor, Parish House

Today we welcome long-time parishioner of Saint Thomas, Tony Major, an attorney and adjunct professor of history at Long Island University. He will teach us the history of a sour and crafty king who, with the help of a small coterie of scholars representing a wide cross section of believers, created a reverent and melodic Bible. Come and learn the story of this version of Holy Scripture which has stood as the accepted focus of Christian faith for centuries, still regarded by many as the finest piece of English literature ever produced.
