Cyril & Methodius

Cyril & Methodius

Almighty and everlasting God, who by the power of the Holy Spirit moved your servants Cyril and Methodius to bring the light of the Gospel to a hostile and divided people: Overcome all bitterness and strife among us by the love of Christ, and make us one united family under the banner of the Prince of Peace; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

8:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Those in their 20s-30s are invited to a series of gatherings beginning today and extending through early May in which the group will look at the Bible readings assigned for the following Sunday. It will not be expected that you will have looked at the passages in advance, but if you’d like to do so, for this gathering they are:

Leviticus 19:1-2,9-18
I Corinthians 3:10-11,16-23
Matthew 5:38-48.

These are particularly interesting readings, from the Matthew sermon on the mount, which may be familiar, to Leviticus, which may not. Consider bringing your own Bible, if you have one you’re familiar with‚Äîalthough we’ll have extras you can borrow.
