American composer and Saint Thomas Choir School alumnus Trevor Weston premieres a new concert work for choir and orchestra, American Lamentation. This work, commissioned by Ronald Thomas, focuses on the Episcopal Church’s historical relationship with enslavement and racial inequality. The concert also features works by other American composers. The Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys is joined by soprano Aundi Marie Moore, with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, conducted by Jeremy Filsell.
