O God, who sent your son Jesus Christ to preach peace to those who are far off and to those who are near: Grant that we, like your servant Jackson Kemper, may proclaim the Gospel in our own day, with courage, vision, and perseverance; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord, who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, now and for ever. If we take a positive view of something Saint Jerome said a long time ago, we might say, familiarity with scripture helps us to become more familiar with Jesus. To that end, each Friday we offer a straight-forward Bible study. This study will meet in the living room of the parish house at 12:45pm, will last one hour, and is open to anyone who is interested. Bring your Bible, and a desire to know our Lord better.
