The Third Sunday Of Easter
Included in this Festal Eucharist are hymns sung by the congregation and choir, additional music sung exclusively by the choir, lessons, prayers, a sermon, and a Rite I Mass. All baptized Christians are welcome to receive Holy Communion.
Today, our new carillonneur will play for the first time before this service and the 4pm Evensong. Ms. Julie Zhu succeeds Mr. Jeffrey Figley, who gave us almost ten years of devoted service before stepping down at Christmas. Ms. Zhu has studied at Yale and Hunter College and was admitted into the Guild of Carillonneurs of North America in 2013. She has studied the carillon in Mechelin, Belgium and has given many recitals at Yale and Chicago as well as in Europe and on other instruments in North America. We welcome her to Saint Thomas.
