Meditation 1

Questions to ponder on Jeremiah 23:23-24

How does it feel to experience the absence of God?
What events in your life have led you to experience God as near? What events have led you to experience God as far away?
What nourished you — or how did you find hope when you experienced the silence of God?

Meditation II

I am inviting you to spend some time today with Psalm 103

Questions to ponder
Can you remember a time when you experienced forgiveness in your life, deserved or undeserved?
How would you describe the shift you experienced inside?
Who needs your forgiveness today?
What do you need to forgive yourself for?

Meditation III

You are invited to spend time with John 8: 3-11 or John 17:1-11

Questions to ponder

What surprised you in this reading?
How does the reading challenge your way of seeing others?
How did reading change your conception of encountering others on your way, from now on?

Meditation IV

I am inviting you to read John 4:1-42 and spend some time with it, asking Jesus to reveal to you your own thirst.

Questions to ponder

What am I thirsting for?
What do I need to let go, so that my thirst will be satisfied?
What is standing in the way of a face-to-face encounter with you, Jesus?
What steps can I take to prepare myself to meet Jesus at the well?

Meditation V

I am inviting you to spend some time with John 14:11-20

Questions to ponder

What is the Holy Spirit is calling you to do?
What could hinder you from receiving the Holy Spirit?
How can you use the gift of the Holy Spirit to change your life and the life of others?
