Almighty God, who didst give to thine apostles Philip and James grace and strength to bear witness to the truth: Grant that we, being mindful of their victory of faith, may glorify in life and death the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ; who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. If we take a positive view of something Saint Jerome said a long time ago, we might say, familiarity with scripture helps us to become more familiar with Jesus. All are welcome to join the parish’s ongoing Friday Online Bible Study via the ZOOM videoconferencing platform. The class begins at 12:45 p.m. and runs for an hour.
