All Saints’ Day
Almighty God, who hast knit together thine elect in one communion and fellowship in the mystical body of thy Son Christ our Lord: Give us grace so to follow thy blessed saints in all virtuous and godly living, that we may come to those ineffable joys that thou hast prepared for those who unfeignedly love thee; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord, who with thee and the Holy Spirit liveth and reigneth, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen.
Mr. John Sheehan, LCSW, will speak on his new role as the 5th Avenue Ecumenical Social Worker; this is a partnership with Saint Thomas Church, Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. He works primarily with the homeless in this community and members in need. This will also be an opportunity to share ideas for volunteer work or further programs. Light refreshments will be served.
On Sunday, November 12 at 12:45 p.m. this series will conclude in the living room of the parish house with a presentation from Leeanna Varga, the program director at Episcopal Charities who will give a presentation on their Volunteer Initiative.
