The Fifth Sunday After The Epiphany
The Fifth Sunday After The Epiphany
Set us free, O God, from the bondage of our sins, and give us,we beseech thee, the liberty of that abundant life which thou hast manifested to us in thy Son our Savior Jesus Christ; who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
Even if you think you cannot sing, you can be in tune with others. Parishioner Nancy Garniez has been teaching this sight-singing skill for over 30 years, and now offers it to the congregation. The group will meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, beginning anew on January 2 from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Parish House Library, though you can join at any time.
All are invited to join. No skill required; no audition. Suggested fee: $20 per session; or $60 for 4 sessions. All proceeds go to the Saint Thomas Stained Glass Window Restoration Project. Email Nancy for information.
[A new group for experienced singers will meet on the last Sunday of every month, starting February 27]
