The Eighteenth Sunday After Pentecost
10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.

What is the ethical content of the Psalms, and how is their instruction conveyed? These are the questions behind the new Sunday class, “The Ethics of the Psalms,” which begins September 16. Visitors welcome any Sunday at 10 a.m. on the 5th floor.

Today’s topic for the class is: Were the Psalms meant to be memorized as a whole book? And then: what difference does it make when we memorize or sing a psalm?

The Ethics of the Psalms class goes on hiatus next week, alongside Fr Austin. It returns the following Sunday (along with Fr Austin). Filling the gap on Sunday, October 6, will be Dr Robert Duvall, who revisits “Every Riven Thing.
