The Rector's Reflection for July 2015

Wednesday, July 1, 2015
12:00 a.m.

This Reflection was recorded before the Rector’s summer vacation and before the mass shooting at Emmanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston on 17 June. Saint Thomas Church is praying for ‘Mother Emmanuel’ Church and for those who died. Here is a link to the Rector’s sermon on Sunday June 28, following the funeral of the chief pastor of Emmanuel Church.

Each month, Father Turner records an audio message which is a personal theological reflection on a particular topic. Sometimes it is about the season or festival being celebrated at Saint Thomas Church, sometimes a reflection on the life of the church in other parts of the world and at other times something that is in the news. These messages are posted to this page toward the end of each month. Be sure to check this page and latest news for updates.
