Tuesday, April 26, the members of the Prayer Shawl Ministry meet from 1 to 3pm in the parish house living room, feverishly getting ready for next Sunday’s spring sale. Besides what they promise are “fun and useful hand-knitted and crocheted things that you simply can’t do without” (they mention car seat blankets and kitchen sink and pot scrubbers) there is to be revealed “something that we’ve all been wanting to have for a long time” which “you can be the first one on your block to own.” More than that they won’t say.
