Remembrance Weekend, November 7 through 10, marks the conclusion of the Choir School Centennial Celebration, and we hope you will join us for some of the events. The festivities begin on Thursday, November 7, with the first choral concert of the season: “Saint Thomas Choir School at 100”. On Friday, November 8, there is a reception at Steinway Hall with special performances by the Boys of the Saint Thomas Choir and Dr. Jeremy Filsell, Director of Music. Saturday, November 9, is Symposium Day at the Choir School, featuring the following speakers: Tom Carroll, MD ’88, “Care of the Professional Voice”; Joe Causby, “Who dares stand idle? The life and works of Dr. T. Tertius Noble”; Sean McFate ’84, “Global Foreign Relations”; Roger Black ’62, “Sitting in the Church: The art and architecture of Saint Thomas Church”. On Sunday, November 10, alumni will join the Choir of Men and Boys for Evensong. Advance tickets and reservations are required, and space is limited.
