Maks will play a program that recreates a Gaudete Sunday mass at the Basilica of Ste Clotilde, Paris. Featuring music by Pierné, Cogen, and Langlais, the recital will culminate in a performance of Tournemire’s l’Orgue Mystique setting for Gaudete Sunday interspersed with plainsong sung by the Gentlemen of the Choir.
This series is free and open to the public. Usually starting at approximately 5:15pm, it follows the 4pm service on most Sundays during the academic term.
