This Sunday we welcome long-time colleague and regular Saint Thomas sub-organist James Wetzel to the Sunday Recital Series. James currently serves as Director of Music and Organist of the Parish of Saint Vincent Ferrer and Saint Catherine of Siena on Manhattan’s Upper East Side where he directs the professional Schola Cantorum. His program will include works of Bruhns, Froberger and Bach played on the Loening-Hancock Organ in the rear gallery, and works of Saint-Saëns and Mendelssohn on the Miller-Scott Organ.
This series is free and open to the public. Starting at approximately 5:15pm, it follows the 4pm service on most Sundays during the academic term.
