The Choir School year is now well and truly underway. The boys have returned enthusiastically and happily to begin the fall term, both returning and new families have greeted each other with warmth and affection. The hallways are once again filled with new displays and song as the boys bring life back into what has been a very quiet building over the summer months. There is an air of excitement and anticipation in the air as current students share their stories about the school traditions of “This is what we do here” – Messiah is already the talk of the town in the Grade 8 class. The rhythm of choir rehearsal is fully underway as we eagerly anticipate our first Sunday back in the choir stalls tomorrow.
Among the boys multiple back to school activities, there have been several special events for families, including an orientation morning at PCS and special evening Circle Line Cruise with the whole PCS community. Everyone at Saint Thomas Choir School has been warmly greeted by our new colleagues and friends at PCS, and we too have been delighted to welcome three new boys to our choir. Our doors remain open to inquiries for other choristers to join us in the coming months, including at our Chorister for a Day event on November 8th.
In Theology class on Thursday we all reflected on both our church and school mottos. O God, my heart is ready feels especially apt this year as a new term unfolds. Thank you for your constant prayer and support as we embark on this new and exciting chapter in the life of Saint Thomas Choir School.

God of Wisdom and Grace,
As the school year begins anew, we offer prayers of thanksgiving for those who work and learn within all schools, colleges and universities.We pray for returning and new students and families here at Saint Thomas Choir School – may they experience openness, patience, safety, and hope.
