2022 Grant Recipient for the Week of July 24: Businesses Ending Slavery and Trafficking (BEST)

[sdg-pt] post_id: 298947

Since it was launched in 2012, Businesses Ending Slavery and Trafficking (BEST) has had a single goal: prevention of human trafficking, one of the worst national and global abuses of our time. Motivated by and committed to the belief that every person has the right to be free from commercial sexual exploitation and forced labor, BEST provides training for front line employees in hospitality, aviation, maritime transportation, and a variety of industries to prevent human trafficking and to create pathways to safe employment for survivors. It also supports organizations to implement BEST practices and to communicate publicly about its social impact. The Grants Committee and Vestry are honored to support BEST in this vital work.
