This week, the Sunday Recital Series returns to Saint Thomas Church with the inaugural performance on the Karl and Barbara Saunders Organ Console and a new start time of 5:30pm ET following our Sunday Evensong Service.
Our series begins this season with UK organist Ben Comeau playing an eclectic program featuring music of J. S. Bach, transcriptions for organ of music of Legrand, Weill, Tailleferre and Fats Waller, and several of the recitalists own compositions. Ben Comeau is a multi-genre organist, pianist and composer based in London, UK. They graduated with a starred first in music from Cambridge University, before studying jazz piano at Guildhall, London, and in Cologne, Germany.
This series is free and open to the public. Starting at approximately 5:30 pm, it follows the 4 pm service on most Sundays during the academic term.
