This group gathers volunteers from our community to address the needs of vulnerable people facing special challenges and who struggle to meet basic needs. With St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Fifth Avenue Presbyterian, Saint Thomas Church is part of the EOP (Ecumenical Outreach Partnership). The EOP employs two social workers who make sure that volunteer work is done professionally, in compliance with regulations and safeguarding, and in such a way that people in need are helped to improve their life situations. Parishioners from Saint Thomas can join the distribution of meals by the EOP on 55th Street from 1-2 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. Those who would like to join can write to Fr. Luigi Gioia.
