We are excited to announce the launch of Neighbor to Neighbor, a service program which will provide coffee, tea, croissants, and fresh fruit to community members in need. The program will serve guests between 9am and 10am every Saturday starting October 26th, with volunteers arriving at the cloisters of the church on 53rd Street around 8:30am. Please note there will be a signup form for interested volunteers to ensure we do not have too many or too few present.
If you are interested in getting involved, please join us at 1pm (after the 11am Eucharist) on Sunday October 13th for an in person meeting at the Fifth Floor room of the Parish House. The coordinating committee (Zac Davis, Brenda Halkias, Dan Salerno, and Ted Schmadeke) will give updates about the program, seek feedback and suggestions for improvement, and organize our volunteer efforts! You can also sign up to be included on the mailing list for this group using the QR code below.
We are very excited to begin reintroducing Saint Thomas as a community service partner in Midtown and hope to see you soon!
